ipad pro wont keep wifi connected

Just got a 12.9 Ipad pro (wifi and cellular) 128Gb

Setting up was a breeze and wifi worked well. Then I turned the ipad pro off.

next time I turned it on, wifi was off in the setting, I turned it on and it connected to my router, for about 1 min, kept on doing this, so I checked the internet to see quite a few having this problem.

I followed the ideas to solve it including making sure the switch to cellular was turned off and reset my network settings.

hey presto! the wifi then kept connected for hours, then I turned the Ipad Pro off.

next time I booted up...Same issue, wifi not staying on.

Surely there is a fix Apple for this, or do I have to keep resetting my network connections every time I use it? my Ipad air, ipad 2 and all other wifi enabled devices in my house don't have any issue with the router

If so, that's pants, from a supposedly better company than Microsoft for issues.

Not for me, I'm on 10.0.2 and still when booting up the wifi is off.

IF I turn on the wifi, it randomly switches itself off, however if I turn airplane mode first wifi turns on, I can then turn off airplane mode and wifi stays on until I switch off, then I have tp go through the palapa again

seems to be a software coding issue
