Any way to use GPS and maps (without internet) on Apple Watch 2?

Hi guys, I'd like to install maps on the internal memory of my Apple Watch 2, I do not want to be connected to Internet or my iPhone to use the GPS feature. (I payed for the GPS and I want to use it)

I could do that in 2007 on an old (now discontinued) Nokia 6110, and UK maps were 2GB, so I'm wondering why I cannot do that on my new Apple Watch 2 (at least in extreme situations when my iPhone runs out of battery or internet connection is not available).
