I see that your iPhone 5C's battery is draining a bit more quickly than you're used to; particularly while the device is not in use. I can definitely understand why this would be a concern. I'm glad to provide some assistance.
I think you're on the right track with your thought to update to the latest iOS version. I'd recommend that you create a back up of your data, then install the update and see if you still encounter this problem. the only differente is that, with me, it started last night after i upgraded to 10.0.2.
10.0.2 was the trigger for me.
