Logic Pro X help?

On the track next to the image of the instrument effect I wanted (Actually an audio track), there is a drop down menu which looks like a play button. If I click on it then there is an option for either amp or wide left or wide right. The track is muted and is still picking up the sound of the recording. Is there any way to unmute this track and go back to normal?
