Q: what to do when the ipod touch volume turns down by itself
ipod touch 5 started turning down the volume by itself on sep 11th.
I have already restored as new, it didn't work out.
today it didn't turn on...so I decided to connect it to PC... I opened the ITunes and pressed the power button and open one together... it turned on.
ITunes opened a window saying there was a problem and it should be updated... if it didn't work it should be restored AGAIN.
What should I do?
I've tried to make an appointment at Genius Bar but so far nothing

- Do you have a case on the iPod that could be activating the switch?
- Does the volume switch look/feel stuck?
- If you successfully restored to factory settings/new iPod via iTunes that indicates a hardware problem. Try the Genius Bar
