Q: imac et bootcamp

Bonjour,

no idea what you're saying but for bootcamp questions you will likely meet a better group to answer in the bootcamp forum Boot Camp

Standard WHQL drivers usually create problems on a Mac. AMD and Intel GPU drivers are usually different due to Apple modifications to such hardware. If you decide to get an iMac, you can install Windows (W8/W10 are recommended). Applications -> Utilities -> Bootcamp Assistant provides Apple-supported drivers for all Apple-specific hardware. These can be downloaded to a USB2 flash drive using

Once you have these, you can run setup.exe in the Bootcamp folder to install Apple drivers. W10 'forced updates' are another issue on a Mac. I suggest you disable such updates, using the following link as an example.

Please try to install Windows via Bootcamp. If you run into any issues, please post with specific issue details. The worst-case scenario is to remove the Windows installation. Is you decision to buy an iMac dependent on this? If yes, you can install Windows and test within a time window which allows return of the iMac back to Apple.

You may also want to consider a Mac Mini, but it has Intel GPUs, unlike the iMac which has AMD GPUs, and can support both.
