Q: Screen Freeze on iphone 6+ IOS10

Hello All,

I'm new member of the Apple community.

I begin by posting a problem I'm facing with my iPhone 6+ (64Go) since I upgrade to IOS 10.0.1 then now to 10.0.2

The problem is that my screen freezes when it is locked. And can't take a call for example. When the phone is unlocked using Touche ID and Home Button, it stay in freezing, forcing me to Hard Reset the device because using slide to power off is freezed also.

Nothing is accessible on the screen.Hard ressetting do not solve the problem, but I have to do that many time.

The problem after a number of tries, it became OK and then appear when the device is locked.

My iPhone works perfectly with all IOS 9.x.x version tille I upgrade to ISO 10.

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities. I see that your iPhone freezes while it’s locked and you’re not able to accept calls. You have to force the iPhone to restart to work again. I know how much I rely on my iPhone. I will be happy to help.

To isolate the cause, I recommend resetting all settings and if that doesn’t work, we’ll want to reset the iPhone back to factory settings and test if that resolves it. Before those steps I recommend backing up the phone. Here are some resources that will help:
