Q: Macbook Air keyboard not working
I am facing an issue with my Macbook Air keyboard. None of the letters from A-L on the keyboard seems to work fine. That is the 2nd row of alphabets on my keyboard does not work fine. Whenever I press a key on this row it types a whole bunch of different letters. For example when I press the key "A" it sometimes print "qaz", sometimes print "1", sometimes the key press becomes a backspace and deletes whatever was written earlier. All other keys on my keyboard are working fine. I connected an external keyboard and verified everything was fine with that one. I can confirm no liquids were spilt on the keyboard. I had observed a similar issue about a year back but with a different row, the 1st alphabet row to be precise. But the issue went away on its own after a day.
I tried different methods like resetting PRAM and SMC but nothing helped.
Has anyone faced a similar issue ever? If so then could you tell me how you fixed it?
MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6), MacBook Air (13-inch, Mid 2013)
