music app disappeared

Hi. The music app on my iPhone 6 stopped shuffling recently and now its completely disappeared and when i try and sync with iTunes its says the music app is not found. I've tried to go on iTunes to down load but doesn't seem to work and I've also gone to settings and reset the homepage setting but this hasn't worked either. Any ideas, or is this a total reset?

Hello Macca04,

Thanks for that info and choosing the Apple Support Communities. I know how important getting the Music app back on your iPhone is to you! The good news is the following steps will be helpful in resolving your issue of the Music app being missing and get your iPhone working properly again.

Add a previously removed built-in app

  1. Go to the App Store and search for the app. Tap User uploaded file to restore the app.
  2. Wait for the app to restore, then open it from your Home screen.
