Q: Remove Recent Libraries from Dock?
I love being able to right-click the FCPX icon in the dock, then choose which library I want to open.
Recently however, I had cause to revert to a backup and in the process of finding the precise copy I needed, I had to open several versions of the library in question, before I found the correct one.
The renamed copies of these libraries have since been deleted but now I find it quite irritating that they still appear in the list when I right-click the FCPX icon.
Does anyone know of a way to remove the unwanted items from this list?

At one time I remember seeing a Clear Recents in that menu, but it isn't there now. Not sure how you'd do that. But here's a better way to track your FCPX Libraries.

Ben, I agree with your smart folders suggestion - very powerful, flexible and elegant!
But to reply directly to the OP request:
There is a Clear Recents command in Final Cut Pro.
It is in File->Open Library->Clear Recents.
This will not be immediately reflected in the Dock; you'll have to log out and back in again (or maybe also if you do a killall Dock in the Terminal).
