I tried to upgrade to Sierra, and got an error message. Then the rainbow icon kept going on so did a hard shut down. After that my mac did not react to the trackpad anymore. I tried everything, r-p-command-option, safe mode, etc... And always got stuck. Finally did recovery mode to first cehck disk and then reinstall OSX. Apple decided to install El Capitan. Since then, i keep getting stuck on the login screen, where i enter my password, screen goes black for a moment and goes back to login screen, both for my account and the guest account. The Apple store told me to change my password, but same issue. I also deleted the LaunchServices files via console mode, still same issue. Anyone can help me please? Meanwhile taking an image of my disk in case i have to erase, hopefully not... Thanks!
