ios 10 notifications won't clear in the notification center

I recently updated to iOS 10 on my iPhone 5. Everything works great except that on certain Apple apps (specifically News, Mail, and Calendar) when I swipe right on my notification and tap "clear" it just doesn't. Restarting doesn't seem to work and the iOS 9 "fix" I've found had to do with changing the notification center to "group by app" which doesn't appear to be an option in iOS 10 anymore. Today, I got the 10.0.2 update and still nothing. In fact, I think it is after today that the Calendar began doing this like the Mail and News app was before it. This is super specific and not a huge deal but I'd love to see this fixed. Thanks!

I don't know if the following will work for everyone but it was the only thing that worked for me, after trying everything else out there, I had a twitter and a weather notifications stuck and wouldn't clear.

- Swipe down to Go to notification centre

- Touch and hold the notification that is stuck until it sticks

- Then swipe it down slowly and hold, you will notice a "Dismiss" label showing up

- Continue swiping down and the notification will be dismissed
