Q: Which size iPad Pro?

I'm thinking of upgrading from my iPad 2. Any thoughts from those who've experienced both the 12.9" and 9.7" iPad Pros as to which might be best? I like the idea of more screen but looking at the specs it seems the 9.7" model has superior hardware so it isn't a straight choice between two sizes of the same thing.

You could probably be at an Apple Store in minutes with the rapid transit available to you, "mate"

If I were you, and I sort of am in that I am deciding between Macbooks, I would carve out an afternoon and go "play"

Do what you normally do with your current iPad and experimenting with the "sales pitches" the floor staff throw at you

A full report - in detail - will be expected, soldier!

Absolutely the 12.9" But I'd hold off until the second generation is released hopefully soon. I've also seen talk of a iPad Air 3 but you know talk.

If you been waiting for bigger screen iPads for a long time, like I have been, instead of smaller screens, then you need to look at the large screen iPad Pro models.

The 12.9 inch screen iPad Pro models ARE pricier, though.

Even thougn the camera and screen technology in the smaller iPad Pro is better and on par with current iPhone 6 ( 12 Mp back camera with true tone LED flash and 5 Mp front facing FaceTime HD camera) the large iPad Pro's back camera is still a very good 8 Mp camera with a single standard LED for a flash ( THE first iPad model to have a camera with LED flash), but the front facing FaceTime camera is still a less than stellar, (and unchanged since the introduction of the iPad 3) 1.2 Mp camera. The screen technology in the large iPad is still new and very good, though.

Compared to the technology in your 5 year old iPad 2, either size iPad model is going to be a giant hardware upgrade for you.

You should wait a little longer though because there should be an iPad and Mac refresh coming very soon with better spec'd iPad models just around the corner.

    Good Luck!
