Replacing the SIM card won't help. However, I doubt that the card is the issue, I suggest calling Verizon back as this sounds very much like their issue.

Sep 25, 2016 5:53 PM in response to j_della9by raymond73,You need to deal with Verizon. The SIM is used for data but since you replaced the SIM that would appear to rule that out. Go back to the Verizon store, get the phone replaced under warranty.
