Q: Verizon iPhone 7 Plus CONSTANTLY dropping to 3G, 1X, NO SERVICE

Ever since I got my iPhone 7 Plus I am constantly dropping to 3G, 1X, or even No Service. My wife has an iPhone 6s Plus and every time this happens I ask her to look at her phone and she always has LTE and several more "bars" than me.

I even had Verizon replace my SIM card. My friend has this issue too with his iPhone 7 Plus.

Is there an issue with this phone and being able to hold on to signal?

I am in Central, NJ on Verizon Wireless.

iPhone 7 Plus, iOS 10

The iPhone does not use a SIM card to connect to CDMA carriers like Verizon - it has an internal card. Replacing the SIM card won't help. However, I doubt that the card is the issue, I suggest calling Verizon back as this sounds very much like their issue.

You need to deal with Verizon. The SIM is used for data but since you replaced the SIM that would appear to rule that out. Go back to the Verizon store, get the phone replaced under warranty.
