Sep 26, 2016 5:34 PM in response to Rloseeby chris_g1,Hi Rlosee!
I see that you're concerned about not having the emergency contact option on the Home screen. I can certainly understand why you're concerned, and I'm happy to help. You can still reach the emergency contact option, it's just changed a little bit:
Make an emergency call when iPhone is locked. On the Enter Passcode screen, tap Emergency Call (to dial 911 in the U.S., for example).
You can read more about this in the iPhone manual here:
Emergency Calls - iPhone
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

Oct 1, 2016 8:47 PM in response to Rloseeby Anne Stickley Michel,Since I use since I use my fingerprint to unlock my phone, the Enter Passcode screen never appears. Sliding my screen to the right gives me the notifications screen and a left swipe gives me access to the camera. But I do not see the Emrrgency Call link at all, as I used to on iOS 9. Any help here?

iPhoneAFter playing around with this a bit more, I finally realized I could get to the 'Enter Passcode' screen by touching the home button with one of my fingers not used to unlock the phone. The Enter Passcode screen will also appear when I press the Home button with my fingernail (my fingerprint always seems to work at unlocking my phone, hence this was why I could not get to the 'Enter Passcode' screen).
