Help please

Ok the new OS update really messed up my minecraft settings, especially the scroll speed in the hot bar. It takes multiple clicks to scroll with a mouse and it's just all messed up with the track pad, Ill move like 1cm and it will scroll through 15 times... I don't play that much but it's annoying when I do, any 3rd party apps to fix this? It worked fine earlier, it's just this new update...
