wifi stops working after win 10 updates

Hi,
I successfully installed win 10 in my iMac retina 5K 27 (late 2015 with El Capitan 10.11.6) through boot camp (6.0.1), and everything worked perfectly. After I installed visual studio, win 10 went through some updating. Since then, wifi and audio have stopped working. For wifi, Device Manager is able to find the wireless adaptor and labels it as "working properly". however, there is no any wireless networks are shown. i also lost the audio. win 10 does not recognize sound card at all.
attempting to fix it, i downloaded the boot camp windows support software to a USB drive and run setup.exe under bootcamp folder in win 10. it "repairs" and successfully finished. after restarting iMac, there is still no wifi network shown and no audio. Can anyone help?
thank you!

If you decide to re-install Windows, please see this link on how to disable driver updates. Before you re-install Windows, check your Windows Update history and see if you can roll back updates.

Also, check the Device Manager for any unknown devices. If you see two instances of the same device it can cause problems with authentication. You can also uninstall drivers for your Network Adapter, and use pnputil.exe to clean the Driver Store and then re-install the Bootcamp drivers by hand.

Loner T: I finally give up. I will try to install win 7 instead. Here is what i did in the last attempt,
(1) reinstalled windows 10 (not connecting to internet always even after installation was completed)

(2) created a recovery point

(3) disabled the device driver update
(4) connected it to internet (through wifi) and installed visual studio
(5) prompted to restart the machine and auto-update kicked in

when everything was done, the machine (running win 10) cannot find any wifi network around and the sound card becomes not recognized and stops working. the worst is that the recovery point created in (2) is gone! so, i can't go back. win 10 leaves me speechless.
anyway, thank you very much for your help and suggestion.
