Q: Mobile usage goes fast in iOS 10

It is all good in iOS 10 in my iPhone 6s Plus. Yet, the mobile usage really drives very fast without using heavily.

I always using wifi and turn off the mobile usage function of the apps, iCloud backup, etc. which may use a lot of mobile data. Most of the time I am in wifi environment and the mobile data has turned off. When I am outdoor, I have to use mobile data, the mobile data is being used very fast in a short time even I am not using it heavily. I am forced to be off the mobile data all the times or otherwise all my mobile data will be used up.

Anyone has encountered this situation?

Go to Settings > Cellular and there will be a list of apps under 'Use Cellular Data For:' that allows you to turn off cellular data for specific apps and see how much data each app and system services has used since the last time you reset the statistics. It may be a specific app using more data than expected or something in System Services not behaving correctly.

    Thank you very much!

I always turn off the mobile data usage for some apps and updates when I go out the place without wifi.

It happens still even I didn't use the apps much.

I told one of my colleagues who also updated the iOS 10 and he also encounters the same problems.

The data has been driven away like running water.

Most probably is the system services background which I can't turn off.

I dont know what to do now except off the mobile data all the times.

    It is quite frustrating:(

You may want to look into which system services are consuming excessive amounts of data and then post a reply with that information. While you can't directly turn off mobile data for these things, there may be a workaround or a fix.
