Oct 2, 2016 12:15 PM in response to SiHancoxby prahara,OK latest findings.
Try to print anything word, excel, pages, preview, notes, still "filter failed"
But i test with other printers. HP deskjet. And it connects via wireless,
and it prints.
fyi my epson T1100 (a3 paper) connect via usb, because there is no wireless option.
maybe i'll have to wait until epson update the driver.

Oct 2, 2016 12:57 PM in response to SiHancoxby John Blanchard1,I think there are two issues going on here. There was the "filter failed" that affected Canon with the release of GM when printing some images, but the filter crashes that are happening with HP (hpcommandtohp, or similar), Epson (rastertoescpII) and Canon (different filters, sometimes xdclfilter) are separate issues, seemingly introduced by the beta.

Oct 2, 2016 2:12 PM in response to John Blanchard1by SiHancox,Your conclusion is probably correct on reading back through some other posts, I'm keeping my fingers crossed though that for my issue (Filter failed) and printer (MG7150) Canon will release an updated driver. It looks hopeful because the work around they have posted on there UK site does at least list my printer as one those affected.

Oct 2, 2016 2:31 PM in response to praharaby SiHancox,Have you tried looking at the Epson site for any acknowledgement or more importantly any indication on whether they are working on a fix for your particular model, if you check my reply to John you will see what I've assumed for my printer from Canon.
Suppose some of us with these issues might not be so lucky in an update being made available because the model might be considered too old for continued support, doing the above might give you some comfort (if your model is mentioned) that a fix will eventually be released.
Not sure what you can do if it is the result of the beta, just trust Apple will resolve in the next release I suppose.

Oct 2, 2016 6:31 PM in response to SiHancoxby prahara,I still think that public beta is the problem. Because when I'm using the official sierra there's no problem at all

Oct 2, 2016 10:16 PM in response to praharaby SiHancox,You could be right and the last beta is behind the issue, in which case it may get corrected in the following releases - like you said before, it's a waiting game - either for new drivers (in my case) or Apples bug fixes (hopefully yours)!

Oct 5, 2016 6:30 AM in response to SiHancoxby odosou,After checking for a macOS upgrade it appears public beta 3 was available. With fingers crossed and a download (10/04/16) and install, at this point my printing issues seem to have resolved. Hope the problem doesn't resurface and hope this fix helps us all.
