Q: How do I change the Airport Base Station from NAT to bridge mode?

I'm trying to set up an Airport Base Station and getting stuck because I have the following message but no idea how to do what it's asking...

Status is showing as Double NAT and then asking me to switch the base station from DCHP/NAT to bridge mode.

But where do I do this?

Thanks

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012), OS X El Capitan (10.11.4), Bought new in the USA

It can be difficult to get from router to bridge at times.. but if everything is going well.. click the icon of the Airport in airport utility and then click edit.

Go to the network tab and change from DHCP and NAT to Bridge.

Click update on the bottom of the page.. all should then be good.

If you run into trouble do it as follows.

Reset the Airport to factory and then do a manual setup. I recommend connecting with ethernet which is far more reliable but your MBPr doesn't have the most important network port that exists.. although there is a cheap thunderbolt to ethernet adapter.

    Thanks so much.

So far I have a green light and super happy that this worked because I have no idea what you said after the sentence "Reset the Airport to factory...."

I have an ethernet cable attached (had to go and buy one because the 5 I used to have laying around the house unemployed, bolted as soon as they knew I was looking for them).

Oh wait...MBPr is my computer...and you are saying that I don't have an ethernet port on it so I would have to get a cheap thunderbolt to ethernet adapter.....whew. OK. Thankfully, I didn't have to go that route.

Again - thanks for your quick reply and help!
