Q: The passcode ,which was sent, does not work when I used it

I Received one message on the screen of my iPhone that if I wanted to use my iCloud account I have to confirm with the passcode. I requested to be sent. I receiced one in my iPad which uses the same iCloud account but when I try today to used to get the software update in my iPhone it does not work . I did try 3 times and I don't know what to do because if I do it wrong again my ipgone will be disable. Please can you tell me how I can get another passcode to be used in the iPhone and make my update, please?

    2 questions:

    The question is did you asked for the password reset in the first place?

    Are you sure it's from Apple and not some phishing attempts?

    This is about the passcode. It is not about the password of my iCloud Account .

    i Want to make the software update of the iOS in my iPhone and it is asking me for the passcode. the last Friday I saw on my iPhone screen that I need to verified my device and I requested 'send the passcode to  of secure device' '

    i received in my iPhone and iPad. I did not used until today but it is not working.

    The  on the screen said it not valid and now I have not way to request a new passcode to add and get the update.

    do you know what I can do?

    i Did try 3 times and according with the apple support if I have 6 wrong intents I will have my device blocked and I will lose my data.

    Well those codes sent to you from Apple had a time limit.

    You cannot use it when it has expired.

    You need to request the code again and this time do so right away.

    the problem that I have not way to request again form my iPhone the code .

    i was searching a way in the phone and in my iCloud account but I can not find any way.

    do you know how I can ask for one again?

    i Need it to get the update in iPhone and now it looks like I need one passcode to get the update in my ipad too
