Q: Bug - Siri / iMessages Group Text

ios 10.0.2 - When starting group text from Siri, then clicking on message to edit, it add 20% in between each space.  Restarting app and iPhone 6s plus did not fix the issue.

 

i.e. Siri - Message Bill and Tom, "I'll see you later tonight bye", after clicking message and having iMessage app open, it will state "I'll20%see20%you20%later20%tonight20%bye"


Please fix ASAP.

    It looks like your iPhone 6 Plus updated to iOS 10.0.2 is adding ascii space in your group messages when you ask Siri to write and send. That's not how that's supposed to work so I'll be happy to help.

    How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch -- Before troubleshooting any device, I always recommend a fresh backup. It's better to "have" one than to "need" a backup.

    Reset iPhone settings -- Be sure to write down your Wi-Fi networks/passwords before starting. On your phone, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. This step will return your iPhone's settings to factory default. Test sending a group text through Siri to check if it's working as expected.
