Why do I need to update my Safari?

Why am I being told to "update my Safari, by updating to OS 10.11.4," when I'm already running OS 10.11.6?

What version of Safari are you using? The latest version for 10.11 is Safari version 10.0. If you don't have that, check your App Store Updates tab to see if there is an update.

Thanks. But, as stated in my question, I'm already running Safari "10.0" with my OS 10.11.

You are welcome. I don't see where you posted you are using Safari 10.0, but did you check the App Store Update tab to see if it still shows an update?

Try re-indexing Spotlight.
