Q: MacBook deleted all files from external hard drive and from pen drive
For the second time, my two MacBook Air have erased all of my files from an external drive.
The first time happened with an external hard drive: I kept all my files there and one day they were just gone. In that opportunity, I connected the external hard disk and the laptop recognized it but my files were not there. The Get Info Section said that all the hard disk capacity was available. As it had formatted it.
Today the same thing happened with a pen drive. I connected it and all of the files were missing. This time I couldn't see the files but on the Get Info section it said that some space was occupied. I ejected the pen drive and connected it again hoping this time the Finder would show my files but then the same thing happened: the MacBook has apparently erased of all my files. Now the Get Info Section says all of the pen drive's capacity is available.
Is someone having the same problem? I have lost many many files for the second time now. The first time I thought it was a problem with my disk, but now I'm starting to think there is something wrong with the laptop.
