I have an iPhone 6 currently running iOS10. Whenever I plug in my iPhone to my laptop, which is running windows 7, iTunes come up and gives me this message: iTunes could not connect to the iPhone (iPhone's name) because an invalid response was received from the device".
Does anyone know why is this coming up?

10.01 or 10.02? Maybe you have to update your iPhone.
Are you using iTunes 12.5.1 or later? You need at least iTunes 12.5.1 to communicate with iOS 10.

I have the iphone 6, windows 7 and iTunes 10.0.2.
I am UNABLE to connect the device to my laptop to import my pictures.
Also in ITunes it says I have never backed it up to icloud and when I try to back it up it doesn't do it.
frustrated..... lots of pics to import....
