Pre-Installed Apps

Hi, being a macbook newbie I inadvertently deleted Numbers and Keynote from my Macbook Pro Retina so thought I could simply download them again from the Apps store. Was about to click on the download links when I noticed I have to pay for them.... Is this correct, considering that both of these apps were originally pre-installed?
