How can I speed up my older Ipad on the internet

My 64 GB iPad 2 ( approx. 18 GBs of free data storage space left) has been running great on the last version of iOS, iOS 9.3.5 with a lot of modifications done in the Settings app to achieve optimal performance.

Modifying many of the iOS settings, to reduced system resource hungry functions, has help to make a better iOS experience for all older iPads, like the iPad 2, 3 and 4 models.

Slow iPad on iOS 9, 10 or 11!

Are you using WiFi or cellular? If WiFi, what DNS are you using? Check Settings > WiFi and tap on the current network for info.

Any iPad Air or iPad Mini 2 or 3 or greater ( I recommend the iPad Air 2, smaller iPad Pro or iPad Mini 4) are all more capable iPads than the iPad 2.
