Hello and sorry to ask what seems to be a rather obvious question,
I have consistently for the past several months been working on a Pages file (or files, I should say) that will save at the first attempt, but, as time goes on, will say that they are "unable to be autosaved" and recommend that I create a duplicate - which even then will not save. After restarting my Mac, I will reopen Pages in search of the file only to find that it has not only not been saved to the most recent edit (which I expect from its earlier message) but then will also not appear in any searches for the file.
This problem exists currently just for this file; other files on Pages are saving quite normally so I am even more at a loss as to why this file keeps deleting for no apparent reason. It is not a large file, about 300 KB, but I wonder why it keeps deleting while other files seem to be completely intact. It may be another issue relating to this Mac, as after some hours of use any files I try to download will say "failed download" but other files when downloaded at more early stages of use will be completely fine.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice for me with this problem, I would greatly appreciate them. If this has been a question already asked (despite what I searched) I am sincerely sorry but very much in need of help with this.
