Since the iOS10.02 update there is not an on and off for shuffle or NO continuous play anymore. Once the shuffle is turned on it does not turn off even after you reset the phone. Does anyone know how to turn it off or how to turn on continuous play?

Thanks so much, it was driving me mad. Having to use iPod touch which I don't like cos my iPod Classic died and they don't do it anymore. Apple used to be so intuitive in its operation - alas no longer.
Thank you so much! I have been trying to figure this out for a while. I try to listen to audiobooks a lot and it drives me nuts to have to keep selecting the next section due to the shuffle. I am a happy camper now!
Can I just say that Apple has completely lost its way. Like ***? Simple - just slide up the hidden super secret music decoder Ring and then your album won't sound like an LP that's lost its mind...did anyone at Apple actually consumer test this ****?? Jesus its like the MBP fiasco. Pathetic and arrogant.

OMGeeesh! Thanks so much, this has been a fracking annoyance for months! Could not figure it out... I don't know why they don't let you just click (hold) on the shuffle icon that is at the top of the page to change it! Anyhow... THANKS!!
This works in Yosemite, perhaps in other OS too: in iTunes, on upper right see a very small downward facing >, click on it and it allows you choose the order in which to play tunes (Name, Album, Composer, Genre, etc. I chose Name and it turned shuffling off (as well as Shuffle off in Controls).
You can scroll down more from the screen of the song playing showing. Theres a shuffle and repeat button.

Thanks, this was making me crazy. Why would they hide one of the most basic commands of an MP3 player with the new design? It's idiotic.
This still hasn't helped me. Whenever I pause my iphone and unpause it just goes to some random song (often not even downloaded on my phone). I just want it to remember where I am in an album from session to session.
I've already checked and that shuffle button indicated above is not selected (because it pulls from different random albums, not even the same album)
The new shuffle and continuous play function placement *****. I shouldn't have to "google it." Ugh
