iphone unable to restore

I tried to update my iphone 5c to ios 10 from itunes . and it showed an error (50) . there is no error 50 in apple support . i cant even restore it . i've tried both itunes restore and DFU . it is not working. the last post got no replies . someone plx give some helpful ideas on what to do .
