Q: Bootcamp and upgrading to macossierra?

Hi all, I'm planning to upgrade from el capitan to macos sierra on several macs (imac and macbook air). But what about my win10 bootcamp partition? Can I avoid losing it and how to access my osx drive after upgrading to siera? Am using macdrive 10 pro but I fear there will be problems accessing the new apfs filesystem.

One a single Mac, remove MacDrive (temporarily), backup OS X, Windows and create a Windows System Restore point. Upgrade to Sierra, and test and verify all functions. If everything works as expected, repeat the same process across other Macs (and yes, it is tedious). You do not need to remove Windows.

Hi, many thanks. So you mean macdrive can deal with the new filesystem after reinstalling it? Best regards

MacDrive does not support encrypted disks like FileVault2. You may need to upgrade MacDrive, if Sierra converts your internal HFS+ to CoreStorage. You should ask the MacDrive Technical Support.
