Q: macOS Sierra: Finder not responding

Hey,

I am running a Late 2011 MacBook Pro with macOS Sierra (10.12) running. This is a fresh install of the system. Its an i7, 8gb ram, and running a 512 SSD.

The system runs really well, but now and then Finder completely freezes up with many applications refusing to start. When I try to force quit them, everything except the Finder can be quit. Upon trying to relaunch Finder, it simply crashes, and goes into a Not Responding loop.

Another odd thing I saw is that Photos.app now says "Closing library" or something to that effect. Not able to reproduce every single time, but it happens now and then.

My doubts are on my oneDrive syncs running perhaps at the time? - I have both a personal and business account running on them at this time. Apart from, the only other cloud service is iCloud (with iCloud Drive working with the new Desktop and Documents functionality).

At this point, I have had to hard reset the computer to get it running again.
