Health App under IOS 10

After updating to IOS 10 the manual input of data, cycling miles, has been removed. I can update the App by using Strava but most cyclists have GPS based milometers for instant info and I have been using this to update my Health App. Using another app to update an app and record useless information I don't need seems a little pointless. Anyone found a way around this yet? Sure i can't be the only one facing this.
