Using Chrome, I am getting connected to ad sites when I click on links. It doesn't happen all the time and I can usually get around it by using Safari, but it is irritating.

For instance, I might click on a link to get information on volunteering for AARP and I get the web page for MediaZen instead.

I might suspect a virus, but it doesn't happen with all links.

Any suggestions?

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.6.8)
