Q: some email goes to iCloud  instead of mail account

Yes. I have my normal email account and the iCloud account. It doesn't matter if I have the iCloud account disabled or not. Apple mail now downloads some to iCloud regardless. In addition, today it sent my daily news email to the Junk folder. I don't know how to control these actions.

It shows both iCloud and my normal account. BTW. To preclude more messages going to iCloud, I unchecked mail as one of its stored items. This doesn't solve the problem in Apple Mail, but bypasses it.
