I have installed Sierra on my mid-2014 iMac. Everything is working pretty well except Siri. I have set all of the parameters in System Preferences, etc. but can never get it to work. The icon is in the menu bar, but clicking it does nothing (apparent anyway). I never see the wavy box, nothing. Any ideas?
You don't get an audio greeting from Siri on the speakers and a little pane in the upper right hand of the screen showing how Siri interprets your command?
What do you see in System Preferences > Siri?
FWIW, there were a few posts about Siri not working if the Notification Center was disabled. Either purposely or not.

Nope, not a thing. Preferences show Siri enabled and icon in the menu bar.
Thanks - I just tried this, but no joy. I had disabled notifications intentionally, but it is now working, but still no Siri.
Yay! After a system restart, it works.
