With the latest s/w update, my Apple TV doesn't enter sleep mode when running apps. This worked well with the prior s/w. Most notable is when running Netflix and NF has completed streaming. If I exit NF to the main menu, sleep mode works just fine.
I contacted NF, and they said this is not something they can control or effect.
Any suggestions on how to correct this situation?

Yes, I was able to repeat this with Netflix, will test some more.
Question - were you on the "Main Screen" or using an "App"
It wouldn't go to sleep with Netflix on screen (not playing a movie, just a general chooser screen) once I put the app in the background by going to theme screen the Apple TV slept after it's allocated time. Will repeat with different apps, just haven't got round to it yet, work keeps getting in the way.
I did do some further testing and was only able to get this to happen with Netflix, did you find anything else out.
