PowerPoint 2016 recent update crashes

Hi, after my recent update of Office 2016 my PPT program for OS Mavericks crashes and just won't open. Does anyone know where can I re-download Power Point or know how to correct the problem.

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.1), Mid 2010

At Microsoft's site. Office 2016 may not work with Mavericks so you might consider upgrading OS X on your system. The current version is macosSiera.
