Since updating to Sierra I notice that MOST of my song rating stars are blue and a few are black. Any idea what's different?

blue means you rated it, black or dark grey is because you havn't rated it
Blue is the new black. Dark grey is the new light grey. Color is the new monochrome. 😉

Great - so there's no way for me to filter blue away from black and sort out this fresh mess (i.e. figure if I actually rated a 3 star song or it was just imported that way - there's cd's I've ripped that somehow have black stars)....
Blue stars are manual ratings. Dark stars are auto-ratings. See Re: Handling grey stars for tips on suppressing auto-ratings.
