The first thing we want to ensure is that all your data on your device is safe. For the iPhone, you can make a backup in iCloud or iTunes using this article : How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Then, because you stated it hangs, I believe you are experiencing your iPhone freezing or not responding. I would like you to try a force restart. Please open this help article for the steps to do a force restart: Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
If I misinterpreted your meaning, or this does not solve your issue, please explain what you mean when you say "hang up". Are your calls hanging up, or are certain apps freezing or not responding?
