I am wondering about the siri suggestions widget in iOS 10.
In iOS 9.3.5 there were Siri suggestions regarding Apps and Contacts.
Now in iOS 10 there is only a favorite widget, where only my static favorites appear but no time and location based suggestions.
Is this function disabled again? This would be sad cos I used it quite often.

It is still there, you can enable it by pressing the modify button at the bottom of the "today" view.
I know that there are more widgets.
But in my list there is only the telephone favorites widget I mentioned above.
There are no telephone siri suggestions. Do you have a screenshot with your widget view?
You may need to enable Siri if that's not the case, then you should find the "Suggestions" category near the plan widgets
This is strange.
My Widget is not called "suggestions" but "Siri App-suggestions".
I thought, that it was the german region settings. So I changed it to US American. No changes. Still "App-suggestions".
So I only have only Siri suggestions for apps not contacts.
What I am looking for are suggestions for contacts, too, not only for apps.
That would be this widget then
Favorites are just the static saved favorites you can configure in the telephone app.
There is no location or time based support.
So I think Apple really deleted this feature of iOS 9
