Q: Can I buy T-Mobile Unlocked iPhone 7 and use it in India?
I read in one of the discussions where it said I could use the Unlocked T-Mobile iPhone (I want an iPhone7) in GSM networks outside US and insert the local sim card. And it worked apparently.
So does that mean if I buy an unlocked T-Mobile iPhone 7, I could discard the T-Mobile Sim-Card and continue using my local carrier's sim card?
P.S : And yes, I know it doesn't stand international warranty, and that I will have to send it back to the U.S in order to get it fixed.

Hello vishnusheth, a bit of a change with the iPhone 7 compared to other iPhones. The T-Mobile phones work on GSM towers. Before, each phone used to have both GSM and CDMA support, however, with the iPhone 7, only works on it's original band meaning you will need to check first if your carrier supports GSM. Then, check if they are under the list of supported carriers at http://www.apple.com/iphone/LTE/. Best bet right now though is Verizon as Verizon sells as unlocked and you can use on other carriers. Hope this helps you two!
