iMac 27" 5K Late 2015 screen artefacts on shutdown

I have the strange lines in the Time Machine window - mine are horizontal and vertical.

Yes, I have this issue too

I posted previously that I have the horizontal colored lines on shutdown, sometimes. Like others here, I also have the thin, light vertical lines in Time Machine.

did apple officially report that the update 10.12.4 should solve the artefacts-problem on shutdown?

I haven't seen such a statement of apple as far?...

Not that I have seen but it was mentioned in several posts in the Apple forums similar to this one. Day 2 for me and it appears to be ok so far...but...?

I think 10.12.4 update fixes this issue! I restarted 2x so far & no screen artifacts!

Oops to late to correct my typos as I pressed the reply button. I hope you get my drift and over look my "fat finger" typos.

Upgraded to 10.12.4 a few days ago. So far no problems. Shutdown behavior is a little different from before: now, it dims the screen background photo for a second, then shuts down cleanly.

Hope the latest update fixes it completely.

Nope, I just got the shut down artifacts today, But only in the lower right side of my 27" iMac 5k.

So it has not been taken care of. The ban-aide just fell off the latest update.

Do we think this has been resolved? I notice it's gone rather quiet on here. I haven't had any issues but not had my iMac on as much as I would like to.

Saw the same kind of thing, only once. Screen buffer appeared to be rewritten as I watched, going black from the top down. Other than that no problem so far.
