Q: Logic Pro X no longer allows user to save Drum Machine Designer kit pieces?

I would like to be able to edit and save individual kit pieces and their smart controls as .PATCH files under:

Library/Application Support/Logic/Patches/Instrument/Drum Machine/01 Drum Machine Designer/z01 Kit Pieces

so that I can build custom kits more quickly in the future and saw a tutorial explain the process of how to do just this but since then (I believe due to the El Capitan update) Logic no longer supports this function.  I hope this isn't the case but if so I sure hope that Apple fixes this issue soon.

In the meantime are there any other work arounds for this problem?

Thanks

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

    It works fine.

The Kit Pieces you save in the Logic's Library Browser are stored on your drive in the following user directory

    ~/Music/Apple Music Apps/Patches/Instrument/Kit Pieces

In the Logic it is listed in the Library Browser under

Electronic Drum Kit ➤ Drum Machine Designer ➤ Kit Pieces ➤ User Kit Piece Patches ➤

    Hope that helps
