Q: how to "get track names" in iTunes 12?

Previous versions had a "get track names" in the drop down menu.

iTunes 12.5 does NOT seem to have that option.

So what can I do to use the internet and the Gracenote database?

I found this page - but it doesn't seem to be any help, I nowhere in my iTunes App can I find the "options" symbol to click. (of course, this page may NOT be about iT 12.5)

grateful for any feedback.

    Hi,

As with a lot of things in the new version of iTunes, the way to get info has changed. For example, when you insert a cd, the top right shows CD Info, Import CD, a new icon that looks like a cog wheel!, and eject button. Click on cog wheel and this shows get track names etc.

If you have already imported the CD, you can retrieve info by going to file > library > get track names.
