Tagged items not showing

I opened my iMac this morning and immediately checked my "work in progress" tagged files. But then I saw NO FILES under that tagged name. I didn't know what happened. After a few hours I think I saw it again but then one tag I have to re-tagged it. It never happened to me before.

What could be the problem?
