Cannot delete computer-to-computer network

Hello!

I set up a computer-to-computer network to transfer files. I went to Network Connections > Create Network, chose the SSID and channel. It worked fine and now I want to delete it, but I can't.

It shows up as a device, not a WiFi network, and I can't find anywhere in settings to remove it.

Having Googled it I can see that some others have had this issue but their solution (drag it off, reboot, change plist settings, remove Internet Sharing) have not worked for me.

The device still shows up in my device list even though Sharing is disabled and the connection is not in use.

Is this expected functionality or am I being a dumbo ? 🙂
