Q: iPhone 6 - iTunes Purchased Music Disappears
I have an iPhone 6 64GB running iOS 10.0.2 and I do not use any streaming or matching services.
Since at least iOS 9, my music (purchased through iTunes) will randomly disappear from my phone. For example, I checked my phone before I left the house today. All of my playlists said "Downloaded" at the top. I get to work and most of the songs now have the Cloud logo next to it. I understand that I can just re-download the music, but if I don't have wifi then it would be using tons of data. My iPhone is nowhere near the storage limit so I cannot understand why my device keeps deleting my music and making me re-download. This is very frustrating as my phone struggles to shuffle around to find songs that it did not delete, and the songs I listen to frequently are missing. I could understand songs I never listen to being removed to save space, but space saving is not necessary.
