Q: I have a "vintage" 2009 MacBookPro that's having internet connection problems. It seems to connect to the internet sometimes and other times not. What I do?

I have a vintage 2009 MacBookPro with El Capitan OS. I have trouble consistantly getting on the internet although I have a new wireless router and the IMac I have next to the MBPro works fine and gets on the internet no problem. What's up?

I understand that you have a MacBook Pro that doesn't seem to want to cooperate with your Wi-Fi network, despite having a new router and an iMac that seems to be perfectly copacetic with this setup.
