Q: Script broken after Microsoft Word for Mac upgrade

After the latest upgrade to Word for Mac 15.26, an applescript is not working.

I have the line "select active document" in a script that's processing some Word documents and that's where it's stopping. The dictionary says that select is no longer a command. What can I use in place of "select active document"? What's strange is that if I open a blank document and run the script, it works fine. After that, I don't need a blank document open to run the script. Strange!!
